The Cactus Bench is my interpretation of finding ways to incorporate nature within the home. Nature will find it’s way and that is expressed here in the bench. The Cactus Bench was designed with location in mind near the entry-way. This space is temporary and should not be occupied for too long. The uneasiness of sitting next to a cactus perpetuates the temporary nature with a little playful anxiety.

The Cactus Bench is made out of birch plywood.
